Iconic Eheads songs tell the story of ‘Ang Huling El Bimbo’, a new musical

Despite declaring that life is nothing but a long, slow moving line that is ultimately meaningless, the Eraserheads gave an entire generation a most beautiful soundtrack that still resonates today. 

The lyrics, though some are dated ("tumutunog na ang beeper mo"), still effectively express a diverse range of emotions and the stories told within the verses no doubt still gives people who grew up in the '90s the chills. 

It's a little shocking that these stories haven't been adapted onstage, but Full House Theater Company is rectifying the situation. Dingdong Novenario has produced a script based on the songs of one of the most influential bands in Philippine music history, to be directed by Dexter Santos.
