Alden's award-winning Martial Law special Alaala is free to view online

The full episode of the award-winning GMA News and Public Affairs special "Alaala" remains available online for free public viewing.

Kapuso actor Alden Richards plays the writer Bonifacio Ilagan, a young activist who served as chairman of Kabataang Makabayan during the Martial Law era.

"Alaala" doubles as a documentary, with Ilagan writing about his experiences for the special.

The special went on to win a silver medal award at the 2018 New York Festivals. It is a part of the Never Forget Film Festival, which runs at Cinema Centenario, located along Maginhawa corner Magiting Streets in Quezon City, for the whole month of September. —Aya Tantiangco/JST, GMA News
