Construction workers discover old tombs, vehicles under Ilocos Norte church

Old tombs and vehicles have been discovered buried under Saint Joseph Parish Church in Dingras, Ilocos Norte.

According to a report on Balitanghali on Tuesday, the church was undergoing rehabilitation when construction workers, digging at the site, found two old tombs and three vehicles.

The dug area was one meter deep and two meters wide. A few snake eggs were also recovered from the site.

The rehabilitation work will be suspended while the church seeks the advice of the National Historical Commission. — Dona Magsino/BM, GMA News
