Resham Saeed is proud to be one of the first Muslim Filipinas 'to raise our flag' as Miss Supranational PHL 2019

Resham Saeed took to Instagram to express how proud she is to win Miss Supranational Philippines 2019 and to be "one of the first Muslim Pinoy to Raise our Flag."

She posted a series of photos of her winning moment on Sunday, when Jehza Huelar passed on her Miss Supranational Philippines crown to the Maguindanao bet.

"Yesterday blew me away. It challenged everything I believed and expected. Sorry about the delayed post but to truly express my gratitude, I had to sit down and let last night’s victory sink in," Resham wrote.

The beauty queen said she won't take the opportunity for granted as she feels honored to be given the responsibility to represent the Philippines internationally.
