Are you unlucky if your birthday is during Ghost Month?

We're in the middle of the Ghost Month Festival as we speak, and with all the superstition surrounding it, questions about.

In a recent Ask Away with Johnson Chua, a netizen asked: Are the people born during this period unlucky?

The feng shui expert explained there is nothing to worry about because your birthday and the ghost month are two different things.

"Baka sabihin, 'hala ghost month ako pinanganak baka malas ako.' No, wala. It's two different things," he said.

He added, "'Pag birthday niyo po is August and September, hindi niyo birthday ang ghost month. The ghost month is about the spirit. 'Yung birthday mo is given 'yan ni Lord so ibig sabihin mas malakas 'yung backer mo kaysa sa kanila."

You have nothing to fear if that's your birthday, the feng shui expert said.
