'TIL DEATH WE DO ART'

Chynna Ortaleza, Kean Cipriano collaborate in organizing UP Fair concert

Kapuso star Chynna Ortaleza and her husband Kean Cipriano are couple goals.

The duo, who own the label O/C Records, worked together in organizing the first-ever Monday stage at the University of the Philippines: Hiwaga Fair this year.

The line-up included performances from Callalily, Unique Salonga, Up Dharma Down, Ebe Dancel, Slapshock, SB19 and Glaiza de Castro, as well as performances from O/C Records talents such as Rice Lucido, Bita and the Botflies, and Zsaris.

Based on their experiences and event pictures, their biggest project-to-date was a resounding success.

Chynna took to social media to express her love and gratitude to her Kean.

"I don’t remember a time in our lives when we were not creating something together. As friends & lovers we were always at work on ideas and concepts," she wrote on Instagram.

She shared a photo of her hubby holding her close as they were working on their project.

Kean had a sweet response to her post. "Til death we do art remember?"

Friends here is @ocrecordsph core team. In truth we do not know HOW in the world we pulled off the stage management, visuals, artist curation and backstage management of #UPHiwaga with only a few expected glitches. I’d like to thank this team for their love for what we do. The ability to Multi-task without being asked is something that is important to me as a person. They all have this ingrained in their being and I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work. #Russchel @van_cipriano @paupampuan @shannnotthesheep @zoeortaleza @_martinriggs We had around 30 volunteers from the @thebuskingcommunity who did their utmost best that day. Kean also shared his experiences on directing a huge concert.

He said that he loved the feeling of directing concerts, and making concert-goers and the artists happy.

"I know exactly how it feels pag nasa entablado, kaya yun ang sinigurado ko. Na mag enjoy lahat ng artists para mapasaya lahat ng tao! Solid to! I wont mind doing it over and over again!" he added. —Angelica Y. Yang/MGP, GMA News
