'Phantom of the Opera' sequel will stream for free this weekend

Following the successful weekend streaming event of "Phantom of the Opera" last weekend comes its sequel, "Love Never Dies," which will be available on YouTube for free for 48 hours starting April 24, Friday.

Like "Phantom," the 2012 production of "Love Never Dies" will stream from Andrew Lloyd Webber's YouTube channel "The Show Must Go On" starting at 7pm BST (London time).

"Love Never Dies" is based on "The Phantom of Manhattan by Fredrick Forsyth." Andrew Lloyd Webber set it to music and Glenn Slater wrote the lyrics.

The show, which debuted at West End's Adelphi Theatre in 2010, stars Ben Lewis and Anna O'Byrne.

"The Show Must Go On" is a weekly series on YouTube that releases full-length smash-hit musicals every Friday, since COVID-19 took the world by storm.

It previously streamed "Joseph and the Amazing Techniclour Dreamcoat," and "Phantom of the Opera."

Mass gatherings, concerts and events are prohibited in most countries to prevent the spread of  the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
