Dennis Garcia's son just made an awesome tribute album for the Hotdog band

Dennis Garcia of the fabulous Hotdog band passed away in January 2020 and seven months later, his son Paolo has put together an irresistible tribute album called "Muling Kagat" and he's released it online for everybody's enjoyment.

"To celebrate the life and music of Dennis Garcia, I put together this tribute album dedicated in his loving memory," Paolo, who also happens to be an excellent music producer, wrote on social media.

"In it are Hotdog rarities as well as some tunes that my dad produced for other artists," he adds.

"Muling Kagat" is comprised of nine tracks that opens with a smooth remix of the famous "Manila." It then cuts to "Don't Touch Me," a jazzy, big band bilingual track that will get you grooving.

"Pandesal sa Umaga," "Pilipino," and "Ang Gabi'y Umiiksi" are a few more tracks in the tribute album.

"I hope you will always remember my father and learn to love these songs as much as the hits," Paolo continued.

While the album is available for free online, Paolo said they are working on a vinyl release, which he hopes to be available by next year.

On Instagram, Paolo has even shared some studies for the cover art of "Muling Kagat." Although it's in black and white, the old photos will certainly transport you back in time when life was simpler and a lot more fun.

In sharing "Muling Kagat" with his Facebook friends, Paolo's sister, Angela, left a comment that will make anybody smile: "Bravo, Pao! Dad will be proud."
