Bohol artist creates pieces from trash found in sea

An artist in Baclayon, Bohol, creates pieces not only with paint or pen but also with the trash he finds in the ocean!

In a series of photos shared by YouScooper Kien Garsuta on Sunday, Pedro Angco Jr.’s artworks could be seen depicting nature or God.

Angco created these artworks using old slippers and other discarded materials he collected from the sea.

According to Kien, however, this is not the first time Pedro’s art has been recognized.

In 2017, Pedro won the second prize in the sculpture category at the GSIS Art Competition. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
