Catriona Gray to host NCCA’s ‘Kultura 101’ web series
Catriona Gray will host the National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ (NCCA) “Kultura 101,” which will premiere in February in celebration of National Arts Month.
In an Instagram post Wednesday, the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder shared the trailer of the web series dedicated to Philippine arts.
“Kitakits!! Kultura101 with Cat,” she wrote on the caption with a cat and Philippine flag emoji.
In the video, she expressed her excitement for being part of this initiative and learning more about the country.
“It has to do with my love of Philippine culture and arts. It really was a journey of discovery for me and little by little, I fell in love with different arts, crafts, food, music and textile,” she said.
“To learn about the history of our people, to learning their stories, built my love as a Filipino but for the Filipino people,” she added.
The show will be available for streaming through NCCA and Catriona’s Facebook pages starting Feb. 20.
