Rabiya Mateo bows out of 69th Miss Universe, fails to make it to the Top 10

Rabiya Mateo was very close to winning the crown at the 69th Miss Universe competition but failed to make it to the Top 10.

Candidates moving on to the next round of the competition include:

1. Jamaica
2. Dominican Republic
3. India
4. Peru
5. Australia
6. Puerto Rico
7. Thailand
8. Costa Rica
9. Mexico
10. Brazil

From 74 delegates, the competition was immediately cut to Top 21. From there, the remaining candidates participated in the swimsuit competition before they were once again cut to Top 10.
