Miss Supranational PHL 2021 Dindi Pajares remembers wish made in 2019 at the Trevi fountain about life away from pageantry

Dindi Pajares was voted and crowned Miss Supranational Philippines last Saturday.

In an Instagram post, the beauty queen revealed it was a dream she's had since she was 10 years old.

"I started joining beauty pageants at the age of ten. In the eighteen years that I have been competing before Miss World Philippines, l have always lost," Dindi wrote.

All those years, she said "being on the stage with some of the most beautiful women, I felt like I didn’t belong."

After her last pageant, Dindi "decided to take a break from chasing my dreams of having my own crown and becoming a beauty queen."

"I knew I was ready to write a new chapter in my life," she continued.

In fact, during a trip to Europe in 2019, at the Trevi fountain in Italy, Dindi "made a wish to ask for guidance on my new path in life away from pageantry and as all Trevi wishers do, to travel back to Europe."

Two years after making the wish, here she is, a beauty queen with a crown "and will, in fact, be flying back to Europe to compete for the Miss Supranational 2021 for my beloved country!"

She ended her note, thanking God, her core team, trainers, her glam team, her supporters, the Miss World Organization, and lastly her Miss World Philippines sisters.

The MWP Organization made the announcement that she is the Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 last Saturday.

In a Facebook live, MWP National Director Arnold Vegafria said the decision was made by her fellow candidates, who served as judges for the title.
