Rachelle Ann Go begins preparation for ‘Les Misérables’ return

Rachelle Ann Go has officially begun preparations for her return as Fantine in “Les Misérables: The Staged Concert.”

The Filipino theater star just posted a set of exciting updates on her Instagram, including a photo from Day 1 of rehearsals with her musical director.

Rachelle also showed her followers a beautiful view of the theater from the stage, as well as a fun sneak peek inside her dressing room.

Last week, it was announced that Rachelle Ann Go return as Fantine for just six shows beginning August 31.

The Filipino actress and singer just welcomed her first child with her husband Martin Spies in March.

Last year, Rachelle reprised the role of Fantine in the iconic musical's West End production in London.

Rachelle first joined the musical's cast during its 30th-anniversary staging in London, following her acclaimed performance as the hardened bar girl Gigi Van Tranh in Miss Saigon's West End comeback. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
