Virtual YouTube FanFest PH returns with SB19, The Juans and more

Concerts and events continue to be held online in this pandemic, and that includes YouTube FanFest.

YTFF went virtual for the first time in October last year, and is back this weekend with exciting new features.

The online event is divided into three episodes, livestreamed every 6 PM from August 27 to 29 on the YouTube FanFest channel. Friday’s Episode 1, titled “Island Life,” puts a spotlight on Cebu.

Cebuano creators Medyo Maldito, Raphiel Shannon, and Snake Princess take fans on an island life adventure, joined by Indai Allyn, G-FORCE and pop rock band The Juans.

Saturday’s Episode 2 is titled “Everyone is Beautiful,” a celebration of beauty in diversity.

The episode features reality-show type challenges and talk-show conversations among lifestyle and beauty creators ThatsBella, Raiza Contawi, About RAF, Hazel Quing, itsclaudineco, Madam Ely, and Tita Krissy Achino, plus performances from AC Bonifacio and Lesha.

For “The Finale” livestream this Sunday at 6PM, some creators from the first and second days come together, including the Guerreo siblings Ranz Kyle, Niana and Natalia, Benedict Cua, Team Lyqa, and Chefs RV Manabat and Simpol, along with artists Reneé Dominique, Zack Tabudlo and top P-pop group SB19.

Longtime YouTuber Mikey Bustos is in all three episodes.

YouTube FanFest Philippines 2021 is presented by All Things Hair and Globe, with the aim of “providing uplifting content to Filipinos who are staying safe indoors and to our frontline heroes wherever they are,” says Gabby Roxas, Google Philippines Marketing Head.

“We strive to do this while celebrating diversity and inclusion, bringing together people from several walks of life including creators from our beautiful Pride community and from regions beyond Metro Manila.”

Some of the creators will also have virtual meet-and-greets in September after the FanFest event. —JAB, GMA News.
