Celebrity and fashion photographer Raymund Isaac passes away at 58

Well-known Filipino celebrity and fashion photographer Raymund Isaac passed away in California on Saturday, September 4.

The news was confirmed by his husband Jayson Vicente on social media.

"My beloved Husband. Now my Guardian Angel. I LOVE YOU @raymundisaac. You'll forever be in my [heart icon]," Vicente wrote on Instagram.

In July, Isaac asked for prayers after he was rushed to California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco for lack of oxygen.

On August 1, Vicente posted on Facebook that Isaac was to be transferred to the intensive care unit. 

Celebrities and artists, such as ballerina Lisa Macuja and singer Christian Bautista, were among those who posted tributes for Isaac on social media as they condoled with his loved ones.

In an interview with GMA’s News To Go in 2011, Isaac talked about setting a trend and using technology in photography, saying, "I’m basically a kid and crazy."

He added that photography has given this generation "a sense of self-worth."
