Kathleen Paton on becoming Miss Eco International 2022: 'I can’t wait to make a difference with this platform'

Miss Philippines Kathleen Paton made the Philippines proud as she became the new Miss Eco International 2022!

After clinching the much-coveted crown, Paton took to Instagram how her heart was filled with mixed emotions.

“PHILIPPINES, WE DID IT!!! I am speechless,” Paton wrote. “I’m sad knowing the everyday adventures and activities with my eco sisters are over, but with storms always comes the sunshine. I am excited with the knowledge and responsibility that comes as your new Miss Eco International 2022.”

According to the newly crowned Miss Eco International, she can’t wait to make a difference with the platform she now has as a beauty queen. “This opportunity will be one I will make sure I do with all my heart, passion, and soul,” she added.

On the same Instagram post, Paton recognized former Miss Eco International Gizzelle Uys, saying she has “big shoes to fill” but is reassured knowing Gizzelle will be guiding her every step of the way.

Paton also expressed her sincerest gratitude to everyone who “has poured all their love and support” towards her journey into becoming Miss Eco International 2022.

“I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life. I am blessed beyond words! From your Miss Eco International 2022,” Paton ended.
