GMA Network is TV Station of the Year in Platinum Stallion Media Awards

GMA Network and its shows, news personalities, and celebrities have been acknowledged anew by the Platinum Stallion Media Awards!

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, GMA Network bagged the TV Station of the Year award.

GMA Senior Vice President for Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy Oliver B. Amoroso accepted the award on behalf of the Kapuso network.

“On behalf of the men and women of GMA Network, led by our Chairman and adviser Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, our President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit Jr., maraming salamat, Trinity University of Asia,” Amoroso said in his speech.

Other awards given for the network’s shows and personalities are the following:

• Vicky Morales - Female News Anchor of the Year
• Atom Araullo - Male News Anchor of the Year
• Emil Sumangil - Best Public Service Program Host 
• Martin Javier - Best TV Sports Program Host
• DZBB Super Radyo - AM Radio Station of the Year
• Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho - Best News Magazine
• Reporter’s Notebook - Best Documentary TV Show
• Unang Hirit - Best Morning Show
• Family Feud - Best Game Show
• Pepito Manaloto - Best Comedy Program
• Royal Blood - Best Primetime Drama Series
• Rhian Ramos - Best Primetime Drama Actress
• Pokwang - Best Variety Show Host
• Ashley Ortega - Breakthrough Artist of the Year
• Euwenn Mikael - Child Star of the Year
• Zig Dulay (Firefly) - Director of the Year
• Marian Rivera - Film Actress of the Year
