Michelle Dee honors legendary Apo Whang-Od in latest photos

Michelle Dee is not done paying tribute to the oldest and last mambabatok in the Philippines, Apo Whang-Od.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe 2023 top 10 finalist shared new photos wearing a body-hugging unitard featuring Whang-Od-inspired tattoo-like details.

Celebrity photographer BJ Pascual shot the images in time for Whang-Od's 107th birthday.

"In the canvas of my skin, a discovery of passion and destiny unfolded," the Sparkle beauty queen said in the caption.

"An immense happy birthday to the timeless legend herself, Apo Whang-Od," she added.

In the latest Miss Universe competition held in El Salvador, Michelle donned a Whang-Od-inspired evening gown by Mark Bumgarner .

During her grand homecoming parade in December last year, the "Black Rider" actress wore another gown inspired by the Kalinga tattoo artist .

Michelle won four special awards in the Miss Universe 2023 , including Best National Costume .
