Full cast of 'The Bodyguard: The Musical' Manila has been revealed


"The Bodyguard: The Musical" has unveiled its full cast for the Manila premiere this September, uniting acclaimed West End talent with some of the country’s most celebrated theater performers.

Leading the production is West End star Matt Blaker as Frank Farmer, opposite Filipina West End alumna Christine Allado as superstar Rachel Marron.

They will be joined by an ensemble of powerhouse Filipino performers: Sheena Palad as Nicki Marron; CJ Navato as Ray Court (and Frank Farmer cover); Tim Yap as Sy Spector; John Joven-Uy as Bill Devaney; Vien King as Agent Laney; Jasper Jimenez as Tony Scibelli; and Paji Arceo as Douglas.

Alternating the role of Fletcher are Elian Santos and Giani Sarita.

The supporting cast also includes Jasmine Fitzgerald (Rachel Marron/Nicki Marron cover), Radha, Fay Castro, Winchester Lopez (also Dance Captain), Carmelle Ros, Richardson Yadao, Iya Villanueva, Vyen Villanueva, Alex Aure, Julio Laforteza, Natalie Duque, PJ Rebullida, Lorenz Martinez, and Lani Ligot.

Blaker has performed in "The Phantom of the Opera," "Jersey Boys," "Chicago," and appeared in Netflix’s "The Crown."

In a statement, he expressed his excitedment in stepping into the role of the iconic bodyguard.

"What I love about Frank is that he’s fueled by both duty and passion,” he said. "It’s a gift to portray such a layered character," he added. 

The Manila run also marks a milestone as the first production to open Rockwell’s new 780-seater Proscenium Theater. 

Directed by Robbie Guevara, the musical will run from September 26 to October 19, 2025, with tickets now available via TicketWorld.

Based on the 1992 Whitney Houston–Kevin Costner film, the stage adaptation has toured the West End and more than 15 countries, captivating audiences worldwide with powerful renditions of Houston’s hits, including “I Will Always Love You,” “Run to You,” and “I Have Nothing.”
