Is Kathryn Bernardo having a Madame Tussauds wax figure in Hong Kong?
Is Kathryn Bernardo the next Filipino star who will have a wax figure in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong?
On Instagram, the famed wax museum shared a short teaser featuring a silhouette of the next celebrity they will immortalize.
“Someone special is joining Madame Tussauds Hong Kong’s red carpet,” the caption read.
Madame Tussauds also teased fans about the identity of its “next Filipino wax figure” by dropping a few clues.
“She began her acting career at just seven years old. She starred in the first Filipino film to earn over P1 billion worldwide,” they wrote.
Filipino fans couldn't help play the guessing game, with Kathryn emerging the top guess in the comments section.
In 2024, Kathryn starred alongside Alden Richards in "Hello, Love, Again," a collaboration between GMA Pictures and Star Cinema. The film became a massive box-office hit, earning over P1 billion in global ticket sales—making it the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.
If it is indeed Kathryn, she will follow in the footsteps of Anne Curtis, Manny Pacquiao, Pia Wurtzbach, Catriona Gray, and Lea Salonga who all have their wax figures in Madame Tussauds.
