Kim Cruz, LA-based Filipina artist, named among Forbes' '30 under 30' 2026 list
Kim Cruz, a Filipina artist and curator based in Los Angeles, California, has been included in Forbes’ "30 Under 30" Class of 2026 list.
Kim shared her achievement on Instagram, saying it was “an honor” to be included in the Art & Style category of the annual list.
“Still so much to learn, but after four years of pursuing my dreams in the art world and being based in three different continents, I can proudly say I am becoming who I envision to be more and more every day,” Kim said.
Forbes recognized Kim for her art, which focuses on the female figure, as well as her non-profit organization, the Kalma Art Foundation, which she founded in 2023. The foundation hosts workshops in remote areas of the Philippines, providing art supplies, classes, and scholarships for children.
“The organization also focuses on providing art therapy for children who are rescued from human trafficking as well by sponsoring shelters in the Philippines,” Forbes wrote, noting that a percentage of all of Kim’s artwork sales goes to the foundation.
Now in its 15th edition, Forbes’ "30 Under 30" is an annual list that recognizes outstanding personalities under 30 years old across 20 industries.
Other Filipino personalities previously included in the list are racer Bianca Bustamante and P-pop group BINI, among others.
