PHLPost unveils Belen-themed 2025 Christmas stamp

PHLPost unveils Belen-themed 2025 Christmas stamp

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has unveiled its 2025 Christmas stamp honoring Filipino faith and tradition, depicted in artwork featuring the birth of Jesus Christ in the Belen.

Designed by PHLPost in-house graphic artist Eunice Dabu, the stamp depicts Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus joined in the manger by the Three Wise Men.

The design showcases the Belen, the traditional Filipino representation of the Nativity scene.

The full art extending beyond the stamp's borders shows an angel and the North Star, which guided the Wise Men in their journey.

With a marked value of P100, the Christmas stamp measures 50 mm x 35 mm stamp and carries special gold foil embellishments.

"The Nativity Stamp is PHLPost's tribute to the nation's deep Christian faith. By showcasing the humble birth of Jesus Christ, we hope to remind every Filipino of the message of hope, humility, and love that Christmas brings," said Postmaster General Maximo Sta. Maria III.

"This stamp is more than a celebration of our faith—it is an invitation to rekindle our shared values of unity, devotion, and compassion during the most joyous season of the year. We also hope it inspires families to remain steadfast and supportive of one another, just as Mary and Joseph did despite the challenges they faced," he added.

The PHLPost launch activity was held Friday at the Kartilya ng Katipunan in Manila City in time for a simultaneous Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
