Shakespeare in the Park announces February return with 'Twelfth Night'

Shakespeare in the Park is officially returning this February with a special staging of William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.”

CAST PH announced that the theater event will be held at Circuit Park in Makati and will be free and open to the public.

“Due to insistent public demand, Shakespeare in the Park returns with ‘Twelfth Night’ this February at Circuit Park, Makati!” the theater group wrote.

The cast features Teia Contreras, Cholo Ledesma, Jillian Ita-as, Altair Alonso, Tarek El Tayech, Cathy Azanza-Dy, Dean Daniel Rosen, and Miguel Salaya.

The production is presented by Ayala Land and Make It Makati in partnership with CAST PH.

It will coincide with Art Fair Philippines at Circuit Makati as part of Ayala Land’s Art Walk.

They promised that the engagement will transform the park into “a vibrant weekend of theatre, visual art, and community gathering.”

Directed by Nelsito Gomez, the show is an abridged staging of “Twelfth Night,” Shakespeare’s comedy centered on love, disguise, and mistaken identity.

The show schedules are as follows:

• February 7 at 5:00 PM
• February 8 at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM
