This E-Visita Iglesia lets Filipinos tour 14 churches at the comfort of their homes

One of the traditions Catholics observe during Holy Week is the Visita Iglesia, a practice traditionally done on Maundy Thursday. Devotees visit different churches to pray, reflect, and spend time in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.

However, with fuel prices soaring, many are reconsidering their Holy Week road trips. But fret not: local creative team Thoughts in Transit has a digital solution.

On YouTube, Thoughts in Transit produced an epic 3.5-hour E-Visita Iglesia, taking viewers on a virtual tour of 14 churches in Luzon.

Audiences can admire each church's design both inside and out, capturing every intricate detail. It's a feast for the eyes, with drone shots showing the locale surrounding the churches and 4K views of the interiors.

Three audio tracks also accompany the video so viewers can customize the music based on their preference. There's an a cappella choral, Filipino rondalla and bamboo flute, and piano and string quartet.

Here are the 14 churches featured at the E-Visita Iglesia:
