Hometown voices and a Philippine flag finale: Highlights from BINI's Coachella Weekend 2 set
BINI returned to the Mojave Stage for Coachella 2026 Weekend 2 with a refreshed set, updated styling, and more moments that leaned further into their identity as Filipino artists on a global stage.
While they introduced changes like a new opening number and wardrobe updates, they also brought back fan-favorite elements from Weekend 1, including the “Eyy” energy check and the kulintang sounds during dance break.
Here are five standout highlights from BINI’s Weekend 2 set:
1. “Strings” officially takes Coachella stage
BINI opened their Weekend 2 set with “Strings,” marking the song's official Coachella debut and immediately shifting the energy of their performance.
“Strings” was released in 2022 for BINI’s “Feel Good” album. The song is an empowering anthem about breaking free from restrictions and standing tall, fighting on their own, and maintaining confidence under pressure.
2. Member roll call
“Strings” also comes with its signature member roll call section, where each member delivers a short, powerful line that reflects the song’s theme of strength and resilience.
The moment, already iconic among Blooms, made its way to the Coachella stage, turning into a standout crowd-hype segment that spotlighted each member while amplifying the group’s collective energy.
Their lines go like this:
Aiah, ready, set, position.
Stacey, fighting on our own.
Maloi, hinding-hindi susuko.
Jhoanna, taas noo, titingala.
Gwen, nobody can stop me.
Colet, this race I can ace.
Sheena, no pressure, I'm steady.
Mikha, got nothing against me.
3. New wardrobe
The girls clearly came prepared for Weekend 2 with a refreshed visual concept, presenting an entirely different outfit set from what they wore during Weekend 1.
The girls first entered the stage in sparkly, edgy ensembles that matched the intensity of their opening number before quickly transitioning into metallic purple and rose gold outfits paired with silver boots.
4. Hometown greetings take center stage
In their introduction, each member greeted Coachella in a way that reflected their hometown roots, switching between Filipino languages and English. The moment highlighted regional pride and drew loud cheers from the audience.
Maloi from Batangas opened with “Ala eh, pagkakasalida,” followed by Sheena’s “Kumusta, Coachella.” Gwen brought Albay pride with “Marhay na hapon, Coachella. Oragon!”
Aiah added a Cebuano greeting, “Coachella, shagit og kusog!” while Stacey said, “Coachella, naimbag nga aldaw kanyayo amin.”
Jhoanna kept it classic with “Isang magandang hapon,” Mikha greeted the crowd in English with “What’s up, Coachella!” and Colet from Bohol closed the segment with “Maayong hapon!”
5. Philippine flag finale
The set closed with the Philippine flag proudly displayed on screen as BINI thanked the crowd, turning the moment into a powerful, emotional reminder of where they come from and the pride they carried all the way to the Coachella stage.
