Remastered 'Muro-ami' to hit select cinemas soon

After "Jose Rizal," another critically acclaimed film from GMA Pictures has been digitally restored and remastered!

"Muro-ami," the 1999 Metro Manila Film Festival Best Picture, is coming soon to select cinemas to introduce itself to a new generation.

The film starred Cesar Montano, Pen Medina, Jhong Hilario, and Amy Austria. It also featured Rebecca Lusterio.

"Muro-ami" is directed by Marilou Diaz-Abaya and written by Ricky Lee and Jun Robles Lana.

"Jose Rizal," which also starred Montano and was directed by Diaz-Abaya, won the MMFF Best Picture in 1998. It was digitally restored and remastered in 2024 and is currently streaming on Netflix.
