Who is Allyson Hetland? 5 things to know about Miss Supranational Philippines 2027
Allyson Hetland is set to represent the Philippines at Miss Supranational 2027.
She earned the title on Sunday, after competing at the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant, proudly representing her home province, Pampanga.
Here are five things to know about the Kapampangan beauty queen.
1. The basics
Allyson is a 24-year-old Filipina-American standing at 6 feet tall. She has a Filipino mother and an American father, giving her a mixed cultural background that she proudly embraces on the pageant stage.
2. She is a registered nurse
Outside of pageantry, Allyson has a full life. She is a registered nurse, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Holy Angel University’s School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences.
During a question-and-answer segment, she shared that serving others is the one thing she would gladly give away for free.
“It would have to be serving others. As a nurse myself, I have seen and felt the fulfillment of serving my community, which is why I will always have my heart open to doing this for free,” she said.
3. Allyson won Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2025
Before making it to the Miss Universe Philippines stage, Allyson first made a name for herself in local pageantry after winning Mutya Ning Kapampangan 2025 while representing Angeles City.
She also received several special awards during the competition, including Ms. Photogenic, Ms. Buencamino Dental Specialist, Ms. October Beauty Studio, and Ms. Teviant.
4. Some personal faves
Allyson gave fans a glimpse into her personal favorites through a social media post.
Her guilty pleasure is chocolates, while her favorite music includes R&B artists Summer Walker, SZA, and Tems.
When it comes to movies, her comfort film is “La La Land” starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.
5. Her faith plays a big role in her journey
Allyson previously opened up about balancing pageantry, studies, and personal responsibilities during her Miss Universe Philippines 2026 preliminary interview.
She shared that her determination to help her family pushed her to finish her studies and become a nurse, while also crediting her faith for guiding her through challenges.
“Sometimes I ask as well, ‘Paano ko nagawa lahat nang ‘yon?’ But I think it was God din. It was a God did moment for me,” she said.
