Who is Trexy Paris Roxas? 5 things to know about Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2026
Trexy Paris Roxas of Iligan is the Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2026!
The Filipina beauty queen was crowned during a separate coronation ceremony held at City of Dreams Manila on Sunday alongside her fellow Miss Universe Philippines 2026 finalists.
She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Eco Teen International pageant in October in Alexandria, Egypt.
But who exactly is Trexy Roxas? Get to know her below.
1. She is one of the youngest contestants
Born on February 12, 2007, Trexy was just 19 years old when she competed in the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant, making her one of the youngest contestants in the competition.
2. She is a nursing student
Trexy is a woman of science, currently pursuing a degree in nursing in college. In her tourism video for the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant, she shared that her love for science, particularly anatomy, inspired her to pursue a career in nursing.
“I am a proud nursing student who is excited to grow and serve through a course that truly inspires me. There’s just something about nursing where you can use what you learned to help people in real situations,” Trexy said.
3. She comes from a family of six
The 19-year-old beauty queen grew up in the small town of Naawan, Misamis Oriental, with a modest family background.
Her father works as a carpenter, while her mother is a housewife. She has three siblings, and despite their humble life, their parents continuously supported them in pursuing their dreams.
“From a very young age, my parents taught us to dream. Dream beyond our situation and to dream beyond our surroundings. They never allow their limitations to become ours. Every opportunity that came my way, they supported with all their heart even if it meant sacrifice,” she said.
4. She is an animal welfare advocate
With 17 dogs at home, Trexy is a passionate animal welfare advocate. During her interview with Miss Universe Philippines Executive Vice President Voltaire Tayag, she highlighted her advocacy, “Paws with Purpose,” which aims to promote the welfare and protection of stray animals.
“My advocacy is actually called Paws with Purpose because it’s rooted in my own experience as a fur mom of 17 dogs and it really opened my heart to the reality of that there are a lot of ignored and lonely dogs in the street. As a student, my resources limited but I really want people to really start small and mine started with one and now there are 17 beating hearts,” she said.
5. She was a commercial model
Before joining her first pageant, Trexy first made her mark as a commercial model. In 2022, at just 15 years old, she became part of the City Models Group, participating in several photoshoots and fashion shows.
