Jo Koy throws ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium for Filipino Heritage Night
Jo Koy proudly represented the Pinoy community as he threw the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium during Filipino Heritage Night.
On Instagram, the Filipino-American comedian shared photos and videos from the event, giving fans a glimpse of his experience.
Jo Koy also highlighted other Filipino traditions featured during the game, including performances of Filipino folk dances and, of course, musical numbers.
In March, it was announced that Jo Koy is set to join the voice cast of “Forgotten Island,” alongside Dolly De Leon, Liza Soberano, and Lea Salonga, among others.
Directed by Januel Mercado, "Forgotten Island" is a "comedy adventure that will transport the film's protagonist to a long forgotten, magical island rooted in Philippine mythology."
The film is set for theatrical release on September 25.
DreamWorks is the American film studio behind the hit animated franchises "How to Train Your Dragon," "Shrek," and "Kung Fu Panda," among others.
