John Bonifacio wins Philippines' first Mister Cosmopolitan title

Model and influencer John Bonifacio made history for the Philippines after winning the country’s first Mister Cosmopolitan title in Nha Trang, Vietnam, on Saturday.

Bonifacio bested representatives from several countries to claim the crown in the pageant’s fourth edition. He also earned the Best Physique and Best Catwalk awards during the preliminary competition.

“We did it, guys. Mabuhay, Philippines. Para sa inyo ito (This is all for you),” Bonifacio said in a video posted by Mister Pilipinas Worldwide, which selects the country’s representative to Mister Cosmopolitan, on social media.

Last year, model and freelance makeup artist Kenneth Marcelino was named first runner-up. —VBL, GMA News
