'Naruto' is making a big comeback with new manga, series, games

"Naruto" is back!

The franchise just announced a new era called Project Rasengan, where a manga, anime, mobile action game, and card game are set to be launched.

On X (formerly Twitter), teasers and more details on the projects were revealed.

An upcoming limited series in collaboration with "Ninku," the classic '90s series that inspired Masashi Kishimoto to create "Naruto," is now in production. It will feature the original Team 7 alongside "Ninku" characters.

Kishimoto is also returning to the original "Naruto" storyline after the manga concluded in 2014 with a new story written and illustrated by him. It features Team 7 as adults and a shocking confrontation between Naruto and Sasuke.

Meanwhile, the card game is set to be launched in June 2027, with three starter decks and a booster pack.

A video teaser for the mobile game was also released with iconic scenes from the franchise.

"Naruto" is a Japanese manga series that follows the title character, a ninja who dreams of becoming the hokage, or leader of his village.
