The stained glass murals surrounding the church provided a colorful backdrop for the equally colorful gowns of the female guests in vibrant fuchsia, maroon, royal blue, and lime green hues. Among the earliest to arrive, Ballsy AquinoâCruz wore a simple baroât saya, in the Aquinoâs trademark yellow color, embroidered with silver flowers and vines. Putting a modern twist to the Filipiniana attire, several women improvised with spaghetti strapped and bustier gowns draped with glittering and embroidered panuelos. A pregnant and lovely Audrey TanâZubiri, wife of Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, put together an improvised baroât saya with a lace cocktail dress and a piña coverâup with puff sleeves. A number of female guests also defied wedding traditions and stood out from the crowd in their black gowns. Actress and Korinaâs former coâhost Kris Aquino wore a JC Buendia black terno accented with yellow lining and paired with yellow high-heeled shoes. The entourage was decked in creations by Patrice Ramos Diaz and Randy Ortiz. Junior bridesmaids wore ecru barotâsaya with embroidered panuelos while bridesmaids wore piña baroât saya with gray silk tapis.

Roxas wore a piña barong embellished with geometric embroidery. Just before sunset, Sanchez emerged from the church doors looking fresh and radiant in a mermaid silhouette bridal gown sans the veil. Designed by master couturier Pepito Albert, the offâshoulder ecru frock was made of hand-embroidered piña and outlined with sequin vines, leaves and flowers at the bodice. Just below the shoulders, the gown is adorned by golden brooches and ruffled sleeves. Gathered below the hips is a chapel train also embroidered with vines and leaves. With her hair swept back into a relaxed French twist pinned back by a golden tambourine brooch and surrounded by white jasmine, Sanchez looked every bit the glowing bride.
Yesterday. Today. Forever. After a five - year relationship, Mr. and Mrs. Mar and Korina Roxas relish the first moment of their married life. Joe Galvez
The Roxas-Sanchez wedding was more austere than originally planned, but that certainly didn't make it less glamorous. The star power of the coupleâand their guestsâalone was the height of style. - GMANews.TV
