Bible characters, prominent personalities in Dr. Amelia Medina-Davies' art exhibit

Painter and doctor Amelia Medina-Davies is currently holding an art exhibit entitled “Beauty, As I See It” at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.

 

The exhibit features portraits of Bible characters, as well as prominent personalities such as boxing champ Manny Pacquiao, and GMA Network executives.

 

 

In painting the portraits, Medina-Davies said she wants "more Filipinos to read the Bible, have a closer relationship with Jesus.” 

 

The exhibit was formally opened last Feb. 15 and was attended by Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez, former Tourism Secretary Alberto Lim, and GMA Network CEO Felipe Gozon, among others.

 

It will run until Tuesday, Feb. 21.

 

Proceeds from the sale of the artworks will go to the Shepherd of the Hills Children’s Foundation. –KG, GMA News
