Apple co-founder Jobs now in 'Who Was' kids' book series

Nearly a year after his death, Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Jobs has reached yet another milestone of sorts: he has made it to the "Who Was" series of children's books. The "Who Was Steve Jobs" children's book has hit store shelves this week, Apple enthusiast site 9to5mac.com reported. "The 'Who Was' books aim to teach kids about important people in history," 9to5mac.com said. Screenshots posted on 9to5mac.com indicated that the book contains a timeline of Jobs' life and of his impact on the world.

Jobs, the visionary behind the now-iconic Apple devices like the iPhone and the iPad, died in October 2011 after a battle with cancer. Written by Pam Pollack and Meg Belviso and illustrated by John O'Brien, the book is available on Amazon for $4.99 on paperback and $6.74 for the Kindle edition. A separate article on PC World said the book was not immediately available on the iBook Store. PC World said other "Who Was" books in the series featured Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, and Queen Elizabeth. - AMD, GMA News
