Five aquatic flowers highlight the Philippine Postal Corporation's latest stamps release, which was made available starting June 27.

“With the issuance of the second quarter topical Aquatic Flower stamps, we are bidding goodbye to a prolific quarter and ushering in the third quarter with the hope that it will equal or surpass our triumphs in the past,” Postmaster General Josefina dela Cruz said according to a post on the PHLPost website.

The stamps, measuring 40mm x 68mm, were laid out by PHLPost artist Jose Antonio Jayme. They feature the Amazon lily, a water lily, a lotus and a water hyacinth.

A fifth flower, a Marsh marigold, is laden on the 102mm x 68 mm souvenir sheet.

According to the PHLPost, the Aquatic Flower stamps are a limited series totaling 104,000 stamps and may be bought at P10 each. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
