J-rock band L’Arc~en~Ciel teases concert in PHL with cheeky FB post

It's about time.

Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel asked Filipino fans on a post on their official Facebook page which song they would want the band to "open their first-ever concert in the Philippines."

The post, which did not confirm plans, garnered at least 1,203 likes and 544 shares as of posting time. It had fans gushing over various favorites in the comments, such as "Fourth Avenue Cafe," "Driver's High," and "Ready Steady Go"—all songs featured from famous anime shows.

While L'Arc did not confirm a future concert for their Filipino fans, a survey on their official website grants a chance at turning the teasing post into reality, as the band is gearing up for their world tour for an unspecified date.

According to the site description, fans "could bring L'Arc~en~Ciel" to their city by voting for their country by signing up in the voting site. Fans may put their selected country and city, along with some personal details, in a survey drawn up to look like a ticket.

Known for their iconic style and music, L'Arc released their first album in 1993 and have recorded 11 albums and three anniversary editions since then.

The legendary band is also know for lending their songs to various anime shows, including "D.N.A.²," "Rurouni Kenshin," "G.T.O.," and "Fullmetal Alchemist." — Rie Takumi/VC, GMA News
