Teachers, take another bow: the Philippine Postal Corporation and its partners have come up with special stamps to mark Teachers' Month.

PHLPost teamed up with the Metrobank Foundation and the Department of Education in producing the "Salamat Po Titser" stamps, which were launched last Sept. 5.

"The stamp was designed by Claire Alino of the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. and features an illustration of a teacher and students carrying a flower and an envelope with a stamp. It also incorporates the logo of the National Teachers’ Month with the texts 'Salamat Po Titser' in the background," PHLPost said.

National Teachers’ Month is observed from September 5 to October 5 this year.

PHLPost said some 300,000 copies of the special stamps were printed using imported unwatermarked paper. The stamps will be in P10 denominations. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
