In a country commonly frequented by typhoons and other natural calamities, it is important to develop a sound and efficient disaster preparedness plan.

“The exhibition is an opportunity for visitors to make their own disaster preparedness manuals, based on the presented projects, as well as for the audience to hear stories and expertise from overseas creators,” the Japan Foundation Manila, serving as the museum's partner for the exhibit, said in a press statement.
The exhibit on the Earth Manual Project will open at the third floor gallery of the Ayala Museum on November 8 and will run until December 7.
The exhibit will feature 11 disaster manual projects developed by experts that focus on procedures and designs against earthquake, typhoon and flood.
"Each exhibit booth itself offers the visitor a ‘manual’ page with its particular activity neatly summarized. You pick up the pages that especially interest you and compile them to make your own disaster preparedness manual," says the project website.

- Iza! Kaeru Caravan! by NPO Plus Arts (Japan)
