Miriam to hold second meet-and-greet for hit book ‘Stupid is Forever’

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago will be holding another meet-and-greet for her book “Stupid is Forever” on January 22, a news release from her media office said Saturday.

The event will be held at the National Book Store in Glorietta from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The second meet-and-greet session was spurred by the book's being rated by NBS as the fastest-selling and best-selling book of 2014.

Registration for the event will begin at 11 a.m. Buyers have the chance to have their picture taken with Santiago.

There will also be 500 signed copies of the book to be sold during the event.

Launched on December 3, “Stupid is Forever” is a collection of jokes, one-liners, pick-up lines and speeches either delivered or curated by Santiago.

It has sold at least 110,000 copies since its launch and has taken the number one spot in the NBS list of booksellers this January. — Andrei Medina/BM, GMA News
