Love notes from Filipino poets, Part II 

Filipino poets have tried to make sense of love as early as 1905, and perhaps even before that. 

 

When you love too much, one calls it "cariño brutal." Some explore the pain of trying to lure someone back. Others try to capture the moment when love took them to greater heights.
