PHLPost said the 20th Anniversary commemorative stamp features the agency's 20th anniversary logo and slogan “Ensuring Universal Coverage for All Filipinos.”
It said the commemorative stamp will have a denomination of P10. Some 104,000 pieces have been printed by Amstar Co.
PHLPost in-house artist Vic Serevo designed the colorful postage stamps to reflect the "rich history of social health insurance in the country."
According to PHLPost, the stamps were available starting Feb. 14 at the Manila Central Post Office.
Philhealth was created after President Fidel V. Ramos signed The National Health Insurance Act, or Republic Act 7875, on February 14, 1995.
"In its 20 years of service, the PhilHealth is considered the most comprehensive health insurance program in the country and one of today’s more active and robust government corporations," PHLPost said. — Joel Locsin/BM, GMA News
