Special Advertising Feature: Champion pays tribute to a creative duo spreading inspiration beyond words
When it comes to spreading inspiration to others, actions speak louder than words.
In its belief in the value of being “tapat” or faithful to its consumers, Champion pays tribute to unique individuals and groups who have exemplified this quality. The Champion Tapat Dapat Update showcases how their faith and commitment to their advocacies have brought about a positive impact on their lives and the people around them.
In the fourth episode of the Tapat Dapat Update, Champion features the story of cousins Malen de Jesus and Patrick Martin, the founders of the Happy Project. Their goal is to spread positivity through their multi-purpose pouches. These pouches do not only bring smiles through the inspirational statements found on them; their production also provides employment for Persons with Disability.
Despite the difficulties that came along with leaving their corporate jobs to pursue their passion and the challenges of communicating with their deaf-mute team members, Malen and Patrick continued working with PWDs to help them maximize their potentials. Today, the Happy Project continues to provide livelihood and empowerment to them.
Indeed, the Happy Project spreads inspiration not only through words but also through the hands and hearts of the people behind it.
