What would you do if you found out that your husband had gotten another woman pregnant—and that, in fact, it was your own househelp he was having an affair with?

And what if your husband dies—and the child he had with the other woman asks to be part of your family?

That is the predicament Lena (not her real name) found herself in.

When she learned about the relationship, she made her husband choose: the woman he married or the househelp who's carrying their first child. Her husband left her and their children and went away with his new love to start their own family.

It sounds like a story fit for a primetime soap. But what would have been a typical sob story took an interesting and inspiring turn when Lena's husband died.

The eldest child of her husband's relationship with the househelp got in touch with Lena and asked her to take him in—even as a helper. He was then a grade school student.

Anton (not his real name) said he'd rather stay with Lena since his mom was always not around.

"Nakiusap, nagmakaawa sa akin. Eh 'yung nanay daw hindi naman daw pumipirmi sa kanila. Nakiusap, kahit gawin ko na lang daw siyang pahinante kung pwede doon na lang," Lena said.

What happened next?

Magpakailanman

In her first role on GMA-7's "Magpakailanman" this Saturday, Comedy Queen and balik-Kapuso Ai-Ai delas Alas will star as Lena.

After her husband's betrayal, Lena is left to move on with her children, but life takes another turn when her husband dies, and Anton, his lovechild, asks her to make him part of the family because of his own mother's negligence.

Will Lena accept Anton? How will her children take this news?

"Mga Anak ng Aking Asawa" will also star Jay Manalo, Ana Capri, Mel Kimura, Renz Valerio, Rhen Escaño, Coleen Perez, Vince Velasco, Jinky Magan, Reese Tayag, Julia Chua, at Makee Dulalia. AiAi's son Sancho Vito delas Alas will also make his debut on Magpakailanman in this episode.
