Major confusion surrounded the coronation night of the Miss Universe pageant early Monday morning after host Steve Harvey made a mistake in announcing the winner.

The comedian initially said that Miss Colombia won, before Harvey apologized for his error and said that Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach won the contest.

Harvey quickly became the subject of memes and tweets online after his screwup.
