LOOK: Ultrasound of Courageous Catie’s heart shows image of Jesus

Three-year-old Caitlin “Courageous Catie” Lucas up to the very end had been brave. But more than anything, her faith never wavered and her heart showed it.

In a Facebook post on the Courageous Catie page, a photo of an ultrasound of her heart was shared. It showed an image of Jesus.

“Jesus is truly in her heart,” the photo was captioned.

To her family, this was not surprising because Catie continued to love Jesus despite her condition and even inspired others to never lose faith. 

Before her body was cremated on Sunday, she was dedicated to her Creator in a marriage-themed ceremony.  

Catie passed away on March 31 after battling juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML), a rare cancer of the blood affecting young kids.

Despite the painful ordeal, her parents Jayjay and Feliz tried to embody’s optimism and bravery.

“Just like her, we just need to obey and listen and trust. The pain will be there but it’s going to be faster or easier to endure,” Feliz said.  — RSJ, GMA News
