Pia Wurtzbach's 'Miss Universe pink' gloves from Pacquiao

Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach not only has the Miss Universe crown, she is also the proud owner of a "Miss Universe pink" pair of gloves—signed by the People's Champ, Manny Pacquiao.

The beauty queen and the boxer had a chance to meet at Novotel on Thursday (April 14), expressing mutual admiration for each other's success.

"I am a big fan of Manny Pacquiao," Wurtzbach told the press, adding, "I was very happy to be in his presence earlier. I admire him as a boxer."

Wurtzbach is currently in Manila to prepare for the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night on April 17. She will personally be passing on her Miss Universe Philippines title to the next lucky candidate. —AT/KBK, GMA News
