Maria Mika Maxine Medina crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2016

The stars shined on Maria Mika Maxine Medina at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday (April 17) where she was hailed as the new Binibining Pilipinas Universe.

The 25 year old beauty queen from Quezon City, who also won Bb. Philippine Airlines, beat frontrunners Kylie Verzosa (No. 31, Binibining Pilipinas International) and Nichole Marie Manalo (No. 28, Binibining Pilipinas Globe)

Medina received the crown from no less than Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. This is Medina's first time to join the pageant. She was originally picked as an official candidate in 2012, but had to withdraw due to a conflict with her endorsement contract.
