Pia Wurtzbach back in PHL, promises a ‘special’ Miss U coronation night

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach arrived in Manila on Thursday, dressed down and talking business. 

Wurtzbach arrived ahead of schedule and ahead of delegates from other countries, who are set to compete against the Philippines' own Maxine Medina.

Miss Indonesia Kezia Warouw, Miss Japan Sari Nakazawa, Miss Malaysia Kiran Jassal, Miss Myanmar Htet Htet Htun, Miss Thailand Chalita Suansane, Miss USA Deshauna Barber, Miss Australia Caris Tiivel, Miss Korea Jenny Kim, Miss New Zealand Tania Dawson, and Miss China Li Zhenying are expected to arrive this week. 

The Department of Tourism announced earlier that the candidates will be flying to Siargao on December 11, followed by visits to Davao, Bicol, Cebu, and Vigan before the coronation night at Mall of Asia arena on January 30, 2017. — TJD, GMA News
