Miss Japan, Miss Thailand, and Miss Indonesia arrive in PHL
More and more beauty queens are arriving in the Philippines for the 65th Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Japan Sari Nakazawa and Miss Thailand Chalita Suansane arrived Friday evening, greeted by the press at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
In a brief interview, Miss Japan shared her excitement for the pageant and told the press that she intends to use her influence to empower others.

Miss Thailand, like Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, said that she would also take up HIV/AIDS awareness as a cause.

Miss Indonesia Kezia Roslin Cikita Warouw arrived Saturday morning.
The three beauties join Miss USA Deshauna Barber, Miss New Zealand Tania Pauline Dawson, Miss Korea Jenny Kim, and Miss Australia Caris Tiivel, who arrived earlier on Friday.
The Miss Universe candidates are scheduled to meet with President Rodrigo Duterte on January 23, 2017.
The 65th Miss Universe pageant will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 30, 2017. — AT, GMA News
