Catriona Gray advances to Miss World 2016 finals

The Philippines' Catriona Gray advanced to the Miss World 2016 finals during Monday morning' s (PHL time) pageant.

Gray joined contestants from Kenya, Indonesia, Dominican Republic, and Purto Rico in the finals.

The Filipina was earlier fast-tracked to the Top 20 when she won the Multimedia Challenge.

Gray had also entered the Top 5 of the Beauty with a Purpose portion for her advocacy of the “Paraiso” project, which provides quality and accessible education to the poor.
